Manufacturing an industrial PC requires more than assembling computer components. It involves platform selection, mechanical design, industrial I/O configuration, production control and reliability testing.
As an industrial PC manufacturer established in 2001, YANLING integrates R&D, engineering design and manufacturing to deliver fanless industrial PCs, industrial embedded computers, industrial mini PCs and customized computing solutions.
Here is how we turn customer requirements into finished industrial computers.
| Step | Manufacturing Process | What YANLING Does |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Requirement Analysis | Evaluates application, environment, CPU performance, interfaces, power input and installation requirements. |
| 02 | Engineering Design | Selects the motherboard, processor, memory, storage, I/O configuration, cooling solution and enclosure. |
| 03 | Sample Development | Prepares prototype samples and evaluates hardware configuration, mechanical structure and software compatibility. |
| 04 | Testing & Approval | Performs functional and interface checks, reviews sample feedback and confirms the approved configuration. |
| 05 | Pilot & Mass Production | Organizes motherboard manufacturing, component assembly, system configuration and production inspection. |
| 06 | Quality Inspection | Conducts appearance and functional checks, 24-hour aging tests and packaging before delivery. |
Every industrial PC project starts with understanding how the computer will be used. Our team evaluates computing performance, operating environment, power requirements, communication interfaces and installation space.
This helps determine the appropriate platform and avoid unnecessary hardware configurations.

2. Engineering Design – Build the Right ConfigurationYANLING evaluates motherboard platforms, Intel processor options, DDR memory, M.2 or SATA storage, industrial I/O and enclosure design. Our engineering capabilities cover fanless thermal structures, multiple COM and LAN interfaces, GPIO, CAN, display outputs and customized mechanical configurations, subject to project requirements. |
We prepare samples based on the agreed specifications. Customers can evaluate product dimensions, interfaces, computing performance and application compatibility before approving the design.
Our factory also has CNC machining and laser engraving equipment to support enclosure processing and product identification requirements.
Before production approval, samples undergo functional inspection and interface verification. Our laboratory is equipped with vibration, high/low-temperature and ESD testing equipment to support relevant product evaluation.
Testing requirements are determined by the product design and customer application.
YANLING operates 4 SMT production lines and 3 assembly lines. Our manufacturing facilities also include 5 CNC machines, 2 laser engraving machines and dedicated warehouses for semi-finished products, finished products and accessories.
Motherboard production capacity is rated at up to 80,000 boards per month. Actual finished-product capacity and delivery schedules depend on product configuration and order requirements.
Finished industrial PCs undergo system configuration, interface and function testing, appearance inspection and a 24-hour aging test before delivery.
Our production process helps identify potential issues before products are packaged and shipped to customers.
